The Beyond Average Boardroom was founded by Lindsey Leuschen, who built Empowering Consulting Group to help business owners stop running on instinct and start running on systems.
As the Boardroom has grown, she has brought in Amy Halls and Courtney Buhrow as expert partners and coaches. Amy owns a mental health practice of more than 30 clinicians and staff, and Courtney owns a physical therapy clinic. Both still run their companies today.
To help women who own established businesses grow without giving up their health, their families, or their freedom.
We've seen what happens when a business grows faster than the systems behind it. The owner works longer, sleeps less, and becomes the answer to every question. The owners who grow well do it differently. They know their numbers, they lead a team that can carry real responsibility, and they have people around them who tell the truth.
That's the room we built. It's honest, practical, and made for women who are ready to do the work.
The Boardroom is where you build that kind of business without sacrificing the life you built it for.
Lindsey is a wife of 23 years, a mom of three, and deeply committed to building a life that works alongside her business. She practices what she teaches, using clear boundaries, thoughtful systems, and intentional leadership to create space for both ambition and balance.
Her span of banking, tech, recruiting, and career coaching, has given her the rare ability to see both the big picture and the day to day realities leaders face. She loves to support business owners who are past the startup phase and ready for smarter systems, stronger teams, and sustainable growth without burning themselves into the ground.
Lindsey served as a medic in the Army National Guard, an experience that shaped her leadership style and her ability to stay calm, decisive, and human under pressure. That foundation still shows up in her work today, especially when clients are navigating growth, change, or high stakes decisions.
